I’m having such a big white page syndrome right now, so I thought I might start by mapping out my plan for the Pre-Fall collection. After all, having this plan written and published might be a great motivation to get the work done.
My primary focus for this season, since I try to have an ecological and sustainable approach to my wardrobe by making my own clothes, is to create a strong basic wardrobe in neutral colours. The first instalment of this basic collection is titled Plain Vanilla, with a lot of black, like the vanilla pod, but also with pink flesh colours to keep the collection a little bit soft and sweet. I admit that I didn’t want to show these sketches because I’m so rusty! The first one on the left was the first one I drew after a long time without drawing, and it looks a bit awkward. However, there’s no point redoing it over and over again until the end of time, I’ve already redone it thrice, and now it’s time to let go and believe that it will become easier with enough practice.
Alright, I don’t have much time left before Autumn, so I think I’ll get to work immediately!
Thank you for reading this, and see you later!
